Owe Balances

An Owe Balance is created when there is not enough drug on hand to fill the entire quantity of a prescription. The patient is usually dispensed a partial quantity of medication (initial fill) and instructed to return to the pharmacy for the remainder at a later date.

Owe Balances can be created at Data Entry. The processing of Owe Balances and printing of their labels are subsequently governed by configurable settings tailored to your pharmacy's preferences, allowing for Owe Balances to be tracked on paper or digitally.
